- This model comes with larger tubing to allow for a greater volume of abrasive.
The PAB BLASTING GUN is a revolutionary pistol grip handgun, with variable trigger control.
What this means is, the user has complete control over their air brush blasting. If you want a light blasting, just pull the trigger a little to allow a small amount of abrasive or all the way back for heavier delivery.
The PAB gun used with the PAB pressure pot also gives instant on or off delivery of abrasive and allows you to perform all techniques in abrasive blasting; silhouette, shadow, value, multi-stage, dimensional, airbrush, and glass carving with just the touch of a finger.
The PAB BLASTING GUN has a continuous tube through the gun to the blasting tip. This means there is no abrasive wear on any metal parts in the gun protecting the unique design features that make it work so well. The only wear you have is on the plastic tube, mostly at the pinch point. When this wear is too extensive to shut off air, just pull the tube though the end of the gun and cut the worn part off. This is usually about 4 inches of tubing. The hose is of a special type of material and not just any hose will work. Replacing this hose isn’t expensive.
The PAB BLASTING GUN tips are easy to change, remove the tip retainer nut, tap out the tip and replace it with another one. For your convenience, the gun was designed to use the tips currently now on the market. We do offer several high quality tips to go with the PAB BLASTING GUN.
The PAB BLASTING GUN comes in two models and is indicated by the size tubing used in the guns, the 1/8″ and the 1/4″ gun. The type of gun needed depends on the main type of blasting being done. If large or deep blasting were in progress, the 1/4″ gun would be best. If surface blasting is the primary style, or blasting on small items, or perhaps airbrushing, the 1/8″ would be best. This is not to say that the two guns will not do all of the techniques, but it does take longer for the 1/8″ gun to do multi-stage blasting. Also the 1/4″ gun would not have the same control for airbrushing as the 1/8″ gun.
Both of the PAB BLASTING GUNS are designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind. We want our customers to be 100% satisfied with our PAB BLASTING GUNS, so all of our PAB Guns come with a 90-day guarantee and our blasting units come with a 1-year warranty. We offer a 10 day money back guarantee (less shipping charges) on PAB Guns and Pressure Systems.
When the PAB gun is used on a pressure pot other than The PAB and depending on the system you have, sometimes the abrasive feed doesn’t work as well as it should and you won’t have the on/off control of abrasive the PAB variable Trigger Gun is famous for. Bob has made available the PAB Tee to correct this situation.
